Marketing & Growth Internship
Agaton is a small team with a big ambition: to become the name every sales leader knows. As our marketing intern, you'll work directly with our Head of Marketing and learn by doing, from running events to writing content to helping pull off the odd guerrilla stunt. If you're curious, quick to act, and want to see how a fast-growing AI company builds its brand from the ground up, this is the place.
About Agaton
Agaton is the leading deep voice AI platform for enterprise sales and customer service teams. Our proprietary technology analyses every customer conversation, not just what's said but how it's said, surfacing the buying signals, unmet needs and churn risks in calls companies already make. We turn that into better conversations, making both human and AI agents measurably stronger, so teams drive more sales, stronger retention and higher quality.
Founded in 2024 by Andreas Kullberg and John Kristensen, Agaton has offices in Stockholm and New York, serving global brands such as Telenor, Axo Group, Telia, AIG and Tele2. The Agaton team previously held key positions at Google, Spotify, Salesforce, Slack and Tink.
Agaton is backed by Inception Fund, Alstin Capital and Sequoia Capital Scout Fund, alongside angels including Silo AI founder Peter Sarlin, HubSpot's Kieran Flanagan and King co-founder Sebastian Knutsson.
The role
You will be the second person in marketing, working side by side with the Head of Marketing on everything marketing does. Examples below:
- Events and conferences: run webinars, roundtables and dinners end to end. Help plan and implement conference and trade show presence - such as guerilla marketing
- Field and guerrilla campaigns: help design and execute the creative, sharp things that get a category-defining company noticed.
- Content and social: own the daily rhythm of our LinkedIn presence. Help build out on-brand assets.
- Case studies and proof: turn interviews and proof points into case studies and sales material.
- Film and creative: help make promo videos and product demos come to life.
- Sales enablement: build the first drafts of the decks, battlecards and sequences the sales team uses.
- PR: support on journalist outreach, prepare briefing material and own coverage tracking.
You will also get pulled into whatever the month demands.
What we are looking for
- Student or recent graduate, or someone making a deliberate move into GTM/growth/marketing
- You write well in English, though native-level fluency is not required
- You love working creatively and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with analysis, and you’re always eager to know whether something is driving real results or not
- Organised enough to handle planning and running an event
- Passion for AI, entrepreneurship or sales
- Bias to action. In a team this size, the imperfect version shipped on Tuesday beats the perfect plan for next month
- Swedish is not a requirement
- On-site role at our office on Brahegatan 4 in Stockholm
Bonus points
- You have made something and put it in front of an audience: a newsletter, a society event, a side project
What you get
- Paid, part-time internship, 3-6 months, with a clear path to a permanent role for the right person
- Direct mentorship from a Head of Marketing who has built marketing functions from the ground up and invested in 275+ early-stage startups
- Real ownership from week one
- A front-row seat to Nordic a company that’s just entered the US market
How to apply
Send a CV or LinkedIn profile plus a short answer to this:
A head of sales at a large Nordic telecom has never heard of Agaton. We have no mutual contacts, no ad budget to speak of, and 5,000 SEK. You have two weeks. How do we get her to reach out to us, not the other way around?
One page maximum. We are not looking for a polished plan. We want to see how you think when you are forced to get creative.
Send your application by hitting the apply button below. We review on a rolling basis and will close the role as soon as we find the right person.
Agaton is an equal opportunity employer. We hire on evidence of ability, and the best candidates do not always come with the obvious background.
