The Opportunity

As our Senior Data Engineer, you'll play a foundational role in building and scaling our data platform. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our data platform, including the design and maintenance of an end-to-end declarative data platform to manage data ingestion, transformation, and consumption.

What You'll Be Doing 🚀

• Develop core data infrastructure, partnering with other engineers to design data pipelines.
• Design and maintain an end-to-end declarative data platform to manage data ingestion, transformation, and consumption.
• Ensure high standards for data quality and security across all data systems.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for data systems.
• Conduct code reviews, design documentation, and contribute to the overall software architecture of the data platform.

What We're Looking For 🤩

Essential

• Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer with extensive background in designing and maintaining an end-to-end declarative data platform.
• Extensive experience with cloud-based data warehouses like BigQuery and AWS Athena, data transformation tools like DBT, and deep knowledge of orchestration tools such as Temporal and Airflow.
• Strong software engineering skills (Python, GO) and experience with large-scale system design, API development, and proficiency in SQL and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with data wrangling and building ETL pipelines
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to present complex technical results to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• An AI-native engineering mindset: Ship 10x faster without trading away reliability, security, or maintainability.

• Startup or founding experience, especially building AI/ML engineering capabilities from zero to scale.
